Since Spike is about the same size as my camera and the big scary thing freaks him out, I don’t often get pictures of him. But, I had my phone out taking a picture of the girls, so I decided to freak him out by getting some video. He’s so fierce! He was eight weeks and a day when this was taken yesterday, so please forgive him if he needs a nap. On Lee Ann’s foot. [...] Chickens love scratch, a combination of different grains. They love it so much we call it chicken crack. See the purple stuff in there? That’s the last of last year’s kale. The girls won’t be even remotely interested in it until the crack is gone.
