Choices, choices …Choices, choices …

I have a wedding to attend on May 22, and I wish to make a dress for it.  And, because I’m just a little crazy, I also would like to make a vintage pattern.

Why is that crazy?  Because vintage patterns (for me) always require a lot of fitting. So that means I’ll have to [...]

Lemon bars of which I will eat NONE

Seriously.

None.

I’m making them for a work open house, and I will not have any, and it’s not because I don’t like them.  I love lemon bars.  Loooooooove them.

But I will not eat any. And not just because Mindi is bringing oatmeal cookies, which I also love. It’s because I’m losing weight, and I [...]

Radish me, baby!

I love radishes.  They grow best in cool weather, so they’re usually the first thing I plant.

This year I’m trying to get as many radishes as I can, so I’m sowing seeds at two week intervals so I have a constant supply.

Sprouts in front, baby radishes in back.

This is what those [...]
